Why do we do it?
Especially if we don't think we can make a difference in the broader world we need to just look at what we have under our own control. And this is everyday life. There is more here that can be done than meets the eye.
People do not focus on this enough, and that's what we want to do.
Why is it important?
Make a difference from the inside out.
You look at everyday life and at politicial life and it is the wrong people taking the stage.
In a world that is increasingly difficult to navigate with its wealth of information and which is often focussed on headlines mainly consisting of bad news, we believe the alternative is to focus on the small things in everyday life to make a difference.
We believe this makes a difference for yourself, for the people around you and in the end for all of us.
Follow 4 simple steps to do this:
Show civil courage - don't look away if something happens that should not. If it is words, don't shy away from the argument. If it is actions - help but be smart about it.
Respect everybody - try to be the better person. Think critically in all situations. Question your own perceptions and assumptions
Smile - for no reason
Help - offer a helping hand, when it is needed
